& Grille! Ron has been around serving the tastiest pizza and sandwiches in Chester County since 1982. With roots in South Philly, then Delaware County, Ron's new home in Chester County left him unable to find a satisfactory area restaurant. These recipes originated from Ron's inability to find tasty and satisfying Pizzas, Cheesesteaks and Hoagies all in one location. It seemed that if a shop had a good Pizza, then the Hoagies lacked taste. If they offered good Hoagies, the Cheesesteaks were fatty and chewy. If they had good Cheesesteaks…well, in Ron's opinion, none had good Cheesesteaks.
One day Ron figured that if you want it done right, you've got to do it yourself. In 1982, Ron opened his first restaurant, which quickly became known in the area for the best food around.
"Ron's Original Bar & Grille" is an enhanced version of his original restaurant serving Dinners, Pasta Dishes, and Alcoholic beverages in addition to your old favorites.
Many have said "What a funny name!" The original Ron’s SchoolHouse Pizza was located in Pocopson, PA just outside of West Chester on the site of the original 1882 Pocopson Schoolhouse, thus, the name "Ron's SchoolHouse." Ron and his wife Becky have five kids and he realizes that you don’t want to take out a loan to feed a family with kids. So, that's why Ron insists on keeping our family prices so reasonable.
We try to offer new menu items periodically to keep your interest. Sometimes we will delete a slower selling item to make room for new ones. If we no longer offer a menu item you would like, please tell your server and, if the ingredients are on hand, we will be happy to make it for you if our kitchen is not excessively busy.
About Our Food
We always make the healthy choice. Our burgers are made from lean sirloin fresh ground daily and hand patted in our store.
We hand trim excess fat from our own store baked roast beef & corned beef.
Our pepperoni and salami are a premium grade which contains less fat than other brands.
Our chicken salad is made in-house from fresh trimmed chicken breast meat. Where do you think we get our chicken soup?
Our bread and produce are received fresh daily.
We use cholesterol free oil for our deep fried items.
Our chef prepares all our dinners from scratch the old fashioned way.
Our marinara is made from scratch also with the finest canned tomatoes, fresh spices and garlic, there is no meat used.
Our pizza, stromboli and Ovals™ are custom made to your order with part skim, Premium mozzarella. This mozzarella contains one of the lowest levels of fat and cholesterol amongst cheeses.

Catering & Delivery
We offer hoagie trays, vegetable trays, finger sandwiches, and hot entrees for office parties, house parties, or business lunches.
We also offer delivery to a limited area available Lunch, Dinner & Late Night 7 days a Week. Minimum order may be necessary at certain times. A $15 minimum Monday to Friday at lunch. Do you have an appetite for a custom order delivered? If so, call now and we will custom prepare for you and deliver any item on our menu. A minimum order may be necessary in some areas. Delivery charge is $1.50 in most areas.
